Ode to the Garden Assassin

Please don’t fear, I’m a friend

I know you

I watch you watch things

like me

Do you like what you see?

Please, grace my lands

gaze upon a majestic sky

ruminate over life,

like mine

Will you slay me in time?

I’ve beaten you to it

You know me

Sipping beneath your flesh

… is what I like best.

    Nicely sinister!

    “You know me.

    Sipping beneath your flesh

    …is what I like best.”

Also, I’ve noticed several photos and illustrations credited to “Kirsten.” Might that be you? Writer, photographer and graphic artist, too? *tips cap* 🙂

Haha thanks. Those humans are so pesky in the garden. 😉

Yup that’s me!  Love graphic design and photography especially… Once the holidays release me from its hostage grip I should be able to get out and start taking more. You have some great shots on your site too I noticed!

Your illustrations and photos are pretty amazing. I was involved in nature photography for a few years (shooting film–Fuji Velvia ISO 50) back before digital really took off). I gathered images from across the Southwest and a bit of the Pacific Northwest, as well as WY and MT. I was making fine-art prints, calendars, greeting cards and also shooting youth sports teams locally. I ended up going on an “extended hiatus” due to not being able to sustain it–too many expenses and really no income at all. But I miss it terribly. I hope you can get back out there shooting again soon. My happiest days were spent hiking about with my camera gear, seeing what nature had to share with me. Thanks for your kind words, too. Much appreciated. 🙂

Thank you! That sounds like an amazing experience you had! I’ll be out there for sure soon especially while the weather is cooler.

Thanks again for the kind words.

    This is definitely mysterious!!
    Yet another great share.
