Sailing high above Earth
on our soft home cloud
Mom and Dad return with crayons
gifted from Heaven town
We arrange them for sunlight to lick
softening quick
into curvy rainbow ride magic
“C’mon, get on!” Mom laughs
sitting snug on Dad’s lap
Us kids sit behind them
hand wrapped waists, eyes wide,
screaming, sliding
down, down, down
We’re wild noodles in the air
splashing into the warmest ocean
for fun on Earth
without a care
